Loose Reins.
Located in a peaceful 20 acre site and
surrounded by some of the most beautiful
Dorset countryside the county has to offer,
Loose Reins brings a little taste of the Wild West
to the South West. You can forget about tents
and caravans – the welcoming homestead here
consists of pioneer-inspired canvas lodges and
ranch cabins.
From the outside, these unique lodgings most
definitely look the part. On the inside, things
are, thankfully, a little less authentic – we’re
not historians, but we’re pretty sure American
settlers didn’t have luxury bedding or power
showers. Not to mention the cool kitchens,
which are well equipped with lots of accessories
from Harts. When/if you’re ready to leave the
comfort of your cabin and fancy something
more active than keeping the porch rockingchair warm, there’s the stunning scenery to
explore, either on bike or on foot. And, if you
fancy going full cowboy, you can always hit
the trail on one of Loose Reins’ fully-trained
American Quarter Horses.
