Meet the Team
As we’re celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2019, we thought it was time to turn to the father-
and-sons team who help run Harts of Stur. Here is their collected wisdom when it comes to all
things breakfast related.

Lots of black coffee on work days,
flat whites at the weekend.
What’s your usual breakfast routine?
On workdays I’ll have marmalade on
toast on the go. At the weekend I’ll
have croissants with blackcurrant jam
How do you like your eggs?
Poached
Favourite breakfast cereal?
Dorset Muesli
Favourite part of a full English?
Mushrooms and black pudding
Brown or white toast?
Nice thick granary loaf is my favourite
Favourite breakfast time gadget?
Dualit Anniversary Toaster
How do you cook your bacon?
Grilled green back nice ’n’ crispy
Red or brown sauce in a bacon buttie?
I prefer my bacon butties naked
What’s your usual breakfast routine?
Coffee only on a work day. Poached
eggs when at home.
How do you like your eggs?
Poached.
Favourite breakfast cereal?
It’s rare but something very sweet like
Lucky Charms.
What’s your usual breakfast routine?
Black coffee first thing, some fruit or
dry cereals during the morning, but
most probably a KitKat!
How do you like your eggs?
I LOVE eggs. I share dipping eggs
with my son every Sunday morning.
Favourite part of a full English?
Mushrooms with plenty of seasoning. Favourite breakfast cereal?
Dry granola or Shreddies with a
banana on top.
Brown or white toast?
Brown. Favourite part of a full English?
A good butcher’s banger.
Favourite breakfast time gadget?
Sage Barista Express Coffee
Machine. So simple even my seven
year old can use it, yet it produces a
premium cup of coffee. Brown or white toast?
Brown or white, I’m not fussy, spread
thickly with butter.
How do you cook your bacon?
I do love a regular product test at
work with the Smart Bacon Toaster.
Favourite breakfast time gadget?
Sage Barista Express.
How do you cook your bacon?
In the oven until crispy.
Best breakfast ever and why?
Calgary Stampede 1998.
The spread of a lifetime. Freshly
cooked omelettes, pancakes, full
English, amazing continental.
A massive variety that I have never

It’s hard to beat having breakfast
with the family sat outside when the
