Harts of Stur Kitchen issue 09, spring 2019 | Page 2

W elcome to the 9th issue of Kitchen magazine. Our buyers have been busy, so this edition is packed with great ideas and exciting new products. I am very excited as 2019 is our centenary year, we are very proud that our family company is now in its 100th year, providing great products and excellent customer service instore and online. My Grandfather, Walter Hart the local blacksmith started the business in 1919. My Dad Eddie and Uncle Bill joined Walter, manufacturing farm equipment. Our shop and warehouse is built where their factory once stood. I joined the business nearly 40 years ago, creating a country department store. Things have changed a lot over the years. The store has expanded more times than I can remember and now hosts an array of products from kitchenware, housewares, gardening, electrical, DIY and clothing. We are now in the fourth generation, with both my sons Johnathan and Graham playing a major part in our award- winning online business. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and is a great family time together. In this issue we are starting our Centenary Celebration with The Great British Breakfast. Our extended family, our lovely staff, will be sharing what they love best about breakfast, and we have some great breakfast products to show you. Also keep a look out on our Facebook and Twitter sites as we announce our Great British Breakfast Instore Event. For our online customers we are only five miles from the A30 or 12 from the A303 so if you are passing, we would love to see you.
