Chakra: Ajna—also known as the third eye, located between the eyebrows. In this pose we salute Aditi, the creative power from which all other powers manifest. Mantra: Om Arkaya Namaha—salutations to he who is fit to be praised. Chakra: Vishuddha—at the base of the throat. The word arka means energy, and the sun is its most powerful source in this world. In this pose, we salute this energy. 10. PA DA H ASTA ASA N A —Exhale (repeat posture three) Mantra: Om Savitre Namaha—salutations to he who is fit to be praised. Chakra: Svadhisthana—located in the genital region. This is a prayer to Savitri, to arouse us into meaningful activity. 12. P RA N A M A SA N A Mantra: Om Bhaskaraya Namaha—salutations to he who leads to enlightenment. Chakra: Anahata—the heart chakra, located in the centre of the chest slightly left of the heart.
