As well as linking to products in blog posts, I also create original pins for my Etsy listings. Personally, I don’t think a product pic on its own is enough to get someone to click on it. That is an Instagram strategy that doesn’t translate to Pinterest. Potential shoppers need to have a reason to click on your product pin. A catchy title or a few words about who or what your product is for will greatly increase your chances of getting a click. I believe in the power

Both Pinterest and blogging are a long game. You don’t necessarily see immediate results. But with consistency and on-point SEO, the traffic will start to come in steadily. It probably took about a year before I started seeing consistent traffic increases through blogging. And Pinterest really rewards consistency. You need to pin excellent quality content, regularly, to see results. So whatever strategy you try on Pinterest, do it consistently, not in small bursts.
