Wrap Up

If this sounds like a lot of hard work, you may be left with a few questions. For example: Can you pay for links? You sure can. Is it expensive? You bet. I’ve worked with countless SEO agencies and in my experience they all overpromise and they all overcharge. Now that I’ve sweepingly discredited an entire industry, I guess I should mention that there are certainly some excellent, honest, and transparent SEO agencies who will handle your link building for you professionally. But again, unless you have a big budget for online spending, then these aren’t for you.

So your homework this month is to start putting the wheels in motion and jotting down a list of sites and blogs that you’d like to have linking back to your business. Check out part 2 next month for types of links, the best way to add links, and how to build up a diverse link portfolio.
