Once you post a guest blog without permission, it’s a good idea to write a short email afterwards that says something like:

Hey there,

I really loved your blog [Title]. I thought it was super well written and had a ton of value for my readers, so I posted it on my blog with a link back to the original post and your site!

I hope that’s ok!

The response has been really great so far; I’ve been getting really awesome comments like

[Post the best comment you got on the post here]

I just wanted to thank you for writing such a great post!
