How does Poland look in foreigners’ eyes?

Davide Pomante is our Italian friend who’s been living in Poland since September. He works in a kindergarten, he teaches English in primary school and Italian at the office. During this time he met a lot of Polish people and he found out a lot about Polish culture.

Before his arrival in Poland he knew that it was cold here. He also heard that people were often drunk and they had a poker face all the time. Now he knows that in the autumn and the winter it’s really cold. He finds people serious in most instances, but crazy at the parties. He feels good with Poles. Living in Poland is good for him because it’s cheap and there are a lot of places of natural beauty. In his free time he likes working out, running, playing football and going to the lake.

What is worth seeing in Poland according to the Italian guy?

So far Davide has been to Kraków, Wrocław, Warszawa and Zakopane. He’s favourite cities are Kraków and Wrocław, but he for sure loves Morskie Oko in The Tatra Mountains. He also visited Auschwitz and he thinks that everyone should do this because it’s so unbelievable that human could hurt other human so hard. We should remember about our past to create a better future.
