expectation their house was going to be bought the speculators or developers. Since this peak of
interest in the neighborhood, the level of speculation had cooled off, leaving many to figure out
what should happen next.
The Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association has been working with the Dallas Leadership
Foundation to understand how to improve their neighborhood and to address the issues it faces.
They are now working with the Foundation to develop their own neighborhood plan designed to
lead the neighbors as a group to return the neighborhood to where it belongs in the eyes of the
community.
