hen I walked into Genesis 11, I was starstruck as I saw a genuine paradise of guitars, amps and effects; everything and anything
you need to record with the best gear and quality was. We went to the studio thanks to the kind invitation that Charly Rey, co-founder with David Benítez, and he explained how they came up with the idea for this guitar exclusive recording studio.
The main reason
As they put it, Genesis11 is a studio that specializes in recording, producing and tracking guitars, but utilizing gear that the Pros use during the whole process, starting with the guitar, effects, amps, cabinets all the way to the mics. The reason is to give everyone who want to record an album a chance to get the best authentic and professional sound like in the best studios around the world, without having to leave Mexico CIty. The studio also offers Re-Amping and online recording services.

With more than 60 acoustic and electric guitars, a wide selection of the best brands and models in the market and an entire wall filled with amp heads capable of delivering the best clean or distorted tones with unimaginable styles where the guitar is the main attraction, the studio also has a very relaxed and friendly vibe.
