Orange’s Dual Dark 50 50-watt amp head (also
available in 100 watts) will literally blow your
socks off! It’s their highest gain amp to date and
an evolution of their acclaimed 15-watt high gain
Dark Terror studio/practice amp. Offering more
than a repurposing, Dual Dark adds tons of power
and boasts a second channel equipped with threeband EQ, power attenuator (accessible from both
channels), and four gain stages assuring overdrive

bliss no matter what channel is used. This amp is
not for the fainthearted, but rather for players who
want a no-frills control panel and lots of meaty
distortion while maintaining a tight, articulate tone.
Rather than throwing in everything but the kitchen
sink, Orange took the approach of developing
a simple, versatile, and killer-sounding amp that
would start with the player’s tone, letting the user
add effects through the effects loop.
