forward to receive the Phoenician
Cup from tournament creator
Eddy Arida and his granddaughter Diala
Tufenkji, after an impressive 7-6 win
over Inspirit/Kildare. This year’s final
was particularly significant as Arida
was celebrating his tournament’s 35th
anniversary. This milestone was recognised
when Club Chairman Jock Green-
Armytage presented Arida with a bottle
of Champagne Laurent-Perrier to mark
the occasion. Earlier, Arida had made a
special presentation to the Club Vet Holly
Baird (pictured right) for her dedication in
ensuring high standards of pony welfare
throughout the season.
