CSI Academy Conservation Rangers It’s a great game of whodunit! Investigators needed to help track down Camp Conshatawba’s favorite mascot. He’s disappeared without a trace, and we need your help to find him! Learn all the skills of a good detective and crime scene investigator like lifting fingerprints, making footprint casts, and more. Meet with real-life super sleuths that do this every day, and get their best advice on tracking down a lead. Ever wanted to work with animals or spend time exploring national or state parks? Do you have a passion for the environment? Learn the ins and outs of a life spent in the outdoors. Explore our local ecosystem and hone your hiking and outdoors skills. Then, hit the road on a visit to some local national and state parks, state game lands, and nature preserves where you’ll get to meet the pros who spend their days protecting and preserving our environment. Girls Grades: 2-5 Dates: June 24-29 Sun.-Fri. (5 nights) Cost: $350 per person Girls Grades: 9-12 Dates: July 1-6 Sun.-Fri. (5 nights) Cost: $375 per person Camp Chef Beginning Backpacking (Level 1) Bon appetit! Camp chefs are needed for a week of baking, cooking, and creating. Take to the kitchen to whip up your favorite recipes, learn the science of baking, and even try some international cuisine. Once you’re comfortable in the kitchen, move outdoors to some advanced outdoor cooking techniques to feed your unit and your curiosity. Wrap up the week by preparing dinner for our special dinner theater program and let the whole camp sample your creations. Get in touch with your wild side in a week of outdoor knowledge and natural beauty. Learn all the skills you need to take the ultimate camping adventure with your friends. Practice packing your bag, hitting the trail, sleeping under the stars, and making your own trail food at camp. Sample an entire science fair’s worth of cool science projects and experiments in a packed week of rocket launches, animal tracking, smash and crash physics, and household engineering. Crash tests, bubbling test tubes, and soaring inve ntions are waiting for young scientists to grab their goggles and lab coats. Love rock climbing? Get ready for a week of high-flying fun! Challenge yourself and get to know your team on our low- rope obstacles. Solve puzzles, crack riddles, and negotiate the twists and turns of the course to get your team to the next level. After you’ve conquered the low ropes, learn the basics of rock climbing. Take to the climbing tower each day for a lesson in rock climbing skills and even help with a climbing tower service project for the week. Girls Grades: 2-5 Dates: July 1-6 Sun.-Fri. Join us for a week of robotics and engineering. Build your very own robots and learn how to program them through a maze of obstacles to your goal.
