Blazing Saddles ( Level 3 )
Giddy up ! Trot a little faster , learn to canter and ride the trail like the cowgirl you are ! Expand your horsemanship knowhow by riding in the ring and tacking up your own horse . Learn all the tricks of the trade , and give a hand at the barn . There ’ s more than just horsey fun to be had . All the great camp activities you know and love will be on the agenda — archery , swimming , nature and more ! Prerequisite : Camper must have experience steering her horse independently at a trot . Completion of Back in the Saddle ( Level 2 ) or documented riding lessons is required .

Trail Boss ( Advanced Horse Session )
Giddy up ! Trot and canter down Skymeadow ’ s advanced horse trails , and compete against your pals in a trail class ! Learn some rodeo skills as you learn to run barrels and poles . At the end of the week , show off all your skills at Skymeadow ’ s first horse show ! Prerequisite : Camper must have experience steering her horse independently at a trot and canter . Completion of Blazing Saddles ( Level 3 ) or equivalent documented riding experience is required .

What ’ s cookin ’? It ’ s up to you ! Devise delectable , delicious , divine dining experiences for yourself and others whether it be in a kitchen or over the fire ! Put your chef hat on and challenge yourself to a cook-off , or even a cake-off ! Can ’ t stand the heat ? Get out of the kitchen and head to the pool where smoothies of your own concoction will be waiting to cool you down !

Boots & Boats ( Introduction Level )
Pair up two great camp activities as you learn to canoe and ride a horse ! Learn all the basics of canoe paddling and play canoe games on the pond . Spend two days at the barn learning about horse care and safety , participating in riding lessons and going on a staff-led trail ride . Don ’ t worry , you ’ ll still have time for other great camp activities like swimming , nature , archery and arts & crafts , too !

Ride & Glide ( Introduction Level )
Love having the wind in your hair ? Then this session of horseback and bike riding will be right up your alley . Spend two days at the barn working on your horseback riding skills and two days hitting the trails on your bike . You ’ ll still have time for all the other great camp activities like archery , swimming and campfires ! Participants may bring their own bicycles and helmets or may borrow them from camp .

Pony Party ( Introduction Level )
Are horses your mane thing ? Then this entry-level horseback riding session is for you ! Learn the basics of riding and horse care as you get comfortable at the barn . But all your time won ’ t be at the barn . You ’ ll get your chance to have fun doing other camp activities like swimming , arts & crafts , games and campfires !

Short Bits ( Introduction Level )
Have you always wanted to join in at a horse session but seem to never have enough time ? This short , entry-level horse session will get you in the saddle and comfortable around the barn . No need for any prior experience with horses , but prior experience with FUN is always welcome ! You ’ ll also kick back at the pool and make a few new friends .
