Reality Show Showdown Are you a survivor? Are you ready for an amazing race? Can you take on a ninja course? Do you have what it takes to face your fears? Then this session full of challenges is perfect for you! Practice your outdoor skills, race around camp, conquer an obstacle course, and try something new. Everyone’s sure to come out a winner! Entering Grades: 4-10 Dates: August 4-9, Sun.-Fri. (5 nights) Cost: $350 per person S’more Fun Sample everything Camp Hawthorne Ridge has to offer! This includes swimming, shooting archery, cooking out over a campfire, testing your survival skills, making crafts, and hiking to the gorge. You’ll get to explore camp in a fun and exciting way using a GPS and letterboxing. Having fun at camp is what this week is all about! Don’t forget about night games with your new friends, and we’ll even celebrate National S’mores Day! All participants will receive a s’mores fun patch. Entering Grades: 2-8 Dates: August 4-9, Sun.-Fri. (5 nights) Cost: $350 per person Ho M rs P e S CA Pony Party (Introduction Level) Are horses your “mane” thing? Then this entry- level horseback riding session is for you! Learn the basics of riding and horse care as you get comfortable at the barn. You’ll also get your chance to have fun doing other camp activities, like swimming, crafts, games, and campfires! Horseback riding lessons are taught off-site and transportation will be provided. Entering Grades: 2-5 Dates: June 30-July 3, Sun.-Wed. (3 nights) Cost: $250 per person Horsin’ Around (Level 1) If you’ve never taken a ride but love horses, you’re in luck! You don’t need to be a rodeo rider for this camp. First, learn the basics of western riding, horse safety, and grooming techniques in the barn. Then, hop in the saddle for your first ride! Dust off from the barn after a long day and hit the pool. Plus, you’ll try archery, slingshots, and all your other favorite camp activities, too!
