Ruth has devoted many years to Girl Scouting in the Rhode Island Council. Starting as a Leader and Troop Committee member, she served as Troop Consultant, Chairwomen of District IV, Board Member-at-Large for three years, 2nd Vice President for four years, Vice President for one year, and the President for four years.
Ruth was truly concerned with the needs and interests of Girl Scouts in Girl Scouts of Rhode Island.
