Alice is a native Rhode Islander, born and brought up in Providence and educated at Pembroke College and Brown University (also at Columbia University and Salve Regina College).
She has been active in Rhode Island Girl Scouting both as a girl and an
adult. She served as a leader for five years. She completed a 3 year term
on the Nominating Committee, chaired the Public Relations Committee,
was a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors, then served two terms
as President followed by Membership and Chairmanship of the Finance Committee.
Alice’s many years of leadership and experience in Girl Scouting have been only a part of her volunteer works with other organizations, statewide, regionally, and nationally – a lifetime commitment to people.
