Jeremy loves to play in band class and develop his musical skills. 2. Ms. Jimin Lee instructs Kimin Lee, Dongin Kwak, and Anastasia Kim on analyzing Bach’s Brandenburg Con- certo No. 2 in F major. The DP Music HL students learned about the history of classical music. 3. Eric Shin and Hansol Lee passionately sing “Route 66,” a fun and bouncy song the choir sang for the winter concert. Eric loved the energetic atmosphere of choir class and used music to relieve stress. 4. Matthias Buesing brain- storms ideas for his collaborative performance with Olena Vasyltova, Ben Kim, Aidan Schneider, and Sarah Wilson. Their final performance was Cact-Eye, a comical piece featuring cacti, police departments, and a pair of glasses. 5. As the core percussionist, Leo Chun plays “Conquest” on the snare drum. Mr. Jackson, the band teacher, asked the students to play this song majestically and with enthusiasm. 6. In preparation for the winter concert, Brad Uhm plays the trumpet. The USS band performed “3 Minute Nutcracker,” “O Holy Night,” and “Fum Fum Fum” at the concert. 40 Academics 6
