1. During Mandarin class, Minhong Kim, Nathan Baek,
and Alex Kook review vocabulary through flash cards. As
first year students, the students struggled with pronunciation
the most. 2. Peter Park and Jonathan Kim try to get past
each other during a game of Capture the Flag. The blue
team struggled to win as they had half the number of players
as the opposing team. 3. Abhinav Jha and Ayushi Gupta work
on their unit vocabulary. The Spanish 2 class learned about
animals and their habitats. 4. Ananya Santhosh jump ropes in PE

class. Jump rope was the fifth exercise in a six-exercise circuit. She
was partners with Nirvika Gupta and Koharu Okamoto.
5. Using flash cards on the board, Peter Park, Ashley Choi, Yeon-
woo Oh study the unit vocabulary. Remembering the words was a
challenge for the students as they were new to the language.
6. Aiden Hong and Sheng Shen do squats to strengthen their
quadriceps. The grade seven PE students were asked to prepare
their own workout circuits.
