1 2 3 1. Anna Sanjeev and Kanak Bhuwalka collaborate to write ideas of what they 4 already know about their group topic on natural forces. After this activity, they researched using the internet and books to find more information about their group topic as they prepared for their presentation. 2. Debbie Jeon and Mr. Ross edit the student-created presentation slide to show a “Virtual Muse- um.” Later on, Debbie Jeon and her group members wore costumes and became curators. 3. During Elementary Science Night, Nirupam Ma- heshwari presented a project based on the research question, “Will the unopened soda cans float or sink?” He aimed to answer his research question through elaborate data collection and evaluation. 4. As An- wesha Bhakta and Nathan Ryu examine different propaganda posters in groups, they wrote down what they saw on the posters and what they thought the message was. This assignment was a part of the government unit for “How We Organize Ourselves.” 5. Summer Freeman presents her most passionate and enthusi- astic topic, Botany. She organized her presentation using meth- ods, procedures, graphs, and analysis. 6. Preparing to create a poster about ancient Egypt, Sota Sugitani and Rei Okubo brainstorm together. After their brainstorm, they explained and presented their ideas in front of their peers. 7. Clare Son and Summer Freeman practice math problems in order to en- hance their multiplication skills.
