Niko Shimokawa, Noelle Scott, Justin Ting, Oscar Freeman, and Miri Mizuno watch math lesson videos with an iPad. 1R class students were asked to watch a video and had to take a quiz at the end of class. 2. Abhinav Santhosh and Chris Li learn to communicate in sign language. Students learned how to talk to one another and ask their names, sign their names, and reply with “nice to meet you”. 3. Geonu Kang, Avery Kelly, Rikka Seino, and Chloe Lee watch a cartoon called “Khami” in Korean class. They learned about health, nutrients, and the importance of eating vegetables. 4. Dr. Helen Rader and Noelle Scott communicate in sign language. After watching tutorials about how to communicate in sign language, students had to put their learning into action with Dr. Rader. 5. Bena Nakhontum and Lucy Lee learn about sign language. 1R students used iPad to watch tutorials, which taught the students how to introduce themselves in sign language. 6. Geonu Kang participates in an activity during Korean class. Students learned how to correctly pronounce different vegetables in Korean. 7. James Jackson, Evelyn Kim, Minjie Li, and Caleb Kim watch a cartoon about health in Ko- rean class. Watching cartoon “Khami” was Evelyn’s favorite activity from the class. Academics
