5 6 7 9 8 10 11 1. Lakov Likhopoy reads a book during silent reading time. Every Tuesday morning, students have their own silent reading time during homeroom and can read a book of their choice. 2. Ethan An and Thomas Hughes dance during homeroom. Students take a short break before transitioning to their next classes. 3 . Lydia Barr presents about herself, her brother, and the life of J.K. Rowling. Lydia added pictures and timelines to explain about J.K. Rowling as she would like to be an author like Rowling. 4. Zachery Youn and Taniya Christober work on describing characteristics by illustrating characters. This exercise was for the students to demonstrate their understanding of character traits. 5. Anish Roy reflects on his IB learner profile card. Each student receives a learner profile they have to demonstrate throughout the week. On the last day of each week, students finish demonstrating their IB learner profile and reflect about their week with their classmates. 6. Robyn Kim adds another book summary to her reading tracker. A reading tracker is a collection of summaries written by students on what they have read on that day. 7. Ms. Hollie Gross teaches the idea of characteristics through various movies and stories to Elliot Ha, Ethan An, and Aditi Jha. They actively participate in pointing out certain points of the characters. 8. Claire Baek writes and draws her experiences from a field trip she came back from earlier that day. Claire and her friends were at the Hwaseong-Eco Center. 9. Meisa Ogi fills out her reading tracker. Meisa read the book, ‘Henry and Mudge in the Green Time’. 10. Amber Park reads an Arthur book during her silent reading time. Whenever students finish their morning work, they are free to read whichever book they want to. 11. Akilanth Arunprasath searches through the mathematics box with Ms. Faith Howell. In the box, there are review packets students can look over. Every Wednesday, students finish their math review to make sure that they do not forget about what they have learned so far.
