The purpose of the Yoga Club is to relax the minds of the elementary students and improve their health. 1. The elementary Student Council Association listen intently to Principal Williams speaks to them. The Student Council comes together each week to plan events for the entire elementary school. 2. Sonny Saimon, Ms. Howell, Timmy Wigenton, Amber Park, and Siwen Lei blow up balloons in Cooking Club. The students dipped the balloons in chocolate and then froze them overnight in order to make chocolate bowls. 3. Sophia Fang and Annabelle Lim put the finishing touches on their cooking creations. The students decorated their chocolate bananas with sprinkles, M&M’s, and chocolate chips. 4. Jose Ward works hard on his Christmas themed scene. The students in art club were given play-dough and a model Christmas tree to work with this session. 5. Meisa Ogi stares intently at her artwork. Meisa created a snowman out of black and white play-dough. 6. The members of SCA eagerly participate in a group discussion about upcoming events. The members include Ruimin Wu, Summer Freeman, Noa Iizuka, Randy Park, Helena Chin, Jason Baek, Nirupam Maheshwari, Jake Jang, Amore Watanabe, and Li Feng. 7. Kain Choi, Lydia Barr, Ikkei Fujikawa, Shouchinder Mahendran, Justin An, and Riker Pownall stretch their hamstrings and sides during yoga club. The main goal of yoga club is to expand the elementary student’s flexibility, and help them relax after a day of school. 8. Riker Pownall proudly displays his Christmas clay creation for all to see. He decorated his model tree and created a snowman out of play-dough. 120 Winter Sports and Activities
