“Participating
in the ACSC
(Asian Christian
School Conference) was an excellent opportunity
for the basketball team.
We weren’t able to produce very good results, but
I think it was a great learning
experience for everyone” said
Trey Noh, team captain and
senior.
For the first time in GSIS
history, the varsity boys were
invited to the ACSC which was
held in Hong Kong. During
their stay there, the boys
played against Christian international schools in Asia.
Jun Kwon, junior, expressed
his internal conflict explaining
that he enjoyed the experience of playing against different teams but disliked that
they lost the games that they
played.
However, not everyone
felt heavily impacted by the
negatives of their time in
Hong Kong.
“You get to meet new
people and hear their
stories” said Trey.
