1. Aidan
Anderson
falls into
Aidan Schneider’s arms after
being punched
in the face by
Brendan Hodge.
Aidan Anderson, who
played Bronco Bronco,
got up immediately and
ran after Mandrake Mothdust, played by Brendan
Hodge, who ran offstage.
2. Sunny Cha recites her line
while practicing during the
rehearsal. Her role was Granny
Babaloo, a grumpy old lady who
owned the chicken ranch.
3. Mandrake Mothdust and Trilby
Tango, played by Brendan Hodge and
Reina Kim, tie Penny Frumheaven, played
by Mya Freeman, to a chair. Mandrake
Mothdust and Tribly Tango, who have
lost everything in a sandstorm, demanded
money from Molly Hopkins as they threaten
Penny with a squeaky chalkboards. 4. Vaughn
Schneider slurps his soup at Mesa Soup Shack and
Trading Post. In the play, the soup shack that Molly
owned was in danger of getting sold. 5. Florrence
Hoxie, a no-nonsense middle-aged woman played by
Claudia Choi, complains about the terrible weather in
her town. She went through a sandstorm with a broken
umbrella and complains about the terrible weather in her
town. In the play, the weather of Arizona was scorching.
6. Bronco Bronco, played by Aidan Anderson, fights Mandrake, played by Brendan Hodge. Bronco was provoked by
Mandrake who had tied up Penny, Bronco’s love. 7. Dan Delion,
played by Jeffer Ward, and Bruiser, played by Jeison Ward, walk
into the scene. They were the people from the capital who came
to buy cows to save the town. 8. Jinny Shin and Tae Woo Kim work
with the lighting and sound in the tech booth. Every scene had specific
lighting to go along with the mood and situation of the play. With Mr,
Montgomery’s direction, the students adjusted the lights and responded
to each cue during the play. 9. Stephanie Kim, Claudia Choi, Aidan Schneider, and Aarushi Agiwal listen as Aidan Anderson r eads a letter. The cast
spent most of their rehearsal blocking this scene to make sure their movement was natural and reasonable. 10. Backstage, Mya Freeman straightens her
hair and attaches her microphone before she takes the stage. Before the play, the
staff and the actors made their final checks on their costumes and props.
