In the same way professional athletes must keep their body in optimal shape in order to negotiate a top salary, properly caring for your body as an athlete will not only make you more productive and profitable, it can also help to prevent a career-ending injury.” Dr. Amanda Carpenter WED NESDAY • N OV 29 10:00 a.m. Chainsaw Safety & Cutting Techniques Featuring Dr. John Ball 12:00 noon Technical Tree Climbing 1:30 p.m. Arborist Technical Rigging 3:00 p.m. Emergency Response & First Aid in the Green Industry T H U R S D AY • N O V 3 0 10:00 a.m. Ed Carpenter BS, AS, NATS, MCA, CEAS Amanda Carpenter PT, DPT, CProT, CEAS Ed’s 20+ years of industry experience and intuition for safer work practices, combined with Amanda’s expertise in the science and practice of biomechanics and ergonomics, make them the perfect brother/sister duo to lead a dynamic team of NATS I nstructors and other presenters who will deliver skills, safety and wellness education at GROWS.
