Our Local Pollinators
Several species of this super-efficient pollinator; just one leafcutter can do the work of 20 honeybees! Leafcutter Bees prefer legume flowers, and are very important pollinators of alfalfa.

BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS
As they feed on nectar rich plants, butterflies and moths transfer pollen from flower to flower.

BEES
Many of our wild native bees are homebodies; they forage for pollen within a radius of 50 meters to a few hundred meters. Our local bees are very active pollinators, so bringing them
into your yard means a bounty of blooms, veggies and fruit! These bees are solitary, nesting in a variety of places including cracks in soil or rocks, hollows in plant stems or logs.
