Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime JOURNEY through Europe where the “Greatest Generation” fought to save the world, defeating the behemoth German Nazi war machine. We arrive in Holland to travel the route of the September 1944, Market Garden Battle, where the American 82nd Airborne landed at Groesbeek, liberating bridge after bridge, and north, to the site of ‘A Bridge Too Far’. We follow the exact footsteps of the heroic warriors who brought the Allies to the doorstep of Hitler’s Nazi domain. Then to Nuremberg, Germany, to trod the Nazi Parade Grounds at Zeppelin Field, where Hitler’s huge rallies were held. Also a visit to the very courtroom where, post-war, the Nuremberg Trials condemned the Nazi to their final fate. Then to the heights of Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, atop the Bavarian Alps. Also touring the town of Berchtesgaden where many of the Nazi’s had ‘summer homes’, away from the raging battles of WWII. Then to Krakow, Poland and a reflective, somber tour of Auschwitz, one of Hitler’s most infamous concentration camps. Berlin is our final destination, where we will tour the city and see where the epicenter of Hitler’s megalomaniacal rise to power took place, and what remains today, giving us a view into a past chapter of history, never to be forgotten.
