The end of an era for Tottenham Hotspur is rapidly approaching as the final few games to be played at White Hart Lane take place between now and May . It is likely that Spurs will play home games in 2017 / 18 at Wembley , but they will not be the first club to do so . Clapton Orient , as they were then , played two Football League fixtures at the stadium in 1930 after they ran into difficulty with pitch dimensions at Lea Bridge Stadium . Both of these topics are subject to articles in this issue , and as a bonus , so is an interesting piece investigating whether part of a stand from Lea Bridge is still intact today .
