how young is too young ?
As professional groomers we all know that it is always best for pets to begin a regular grooming
schedule. There never seems to be an discrepancy regarding this issue comes into play when
the discussion of age is eventually raised. I polled our NAPCG members and votes ranged from
6 weeks to 16 weeks…and my questions was ‘why’? For one thing, more and more research is
surfacing to prove that we, for the most part, are a society that has been over vaccinating our
pets for decades. As pet owners educate themselves and more research comes to light, even
some veterinarians are pulling back on the amount and frequency of vaccinations.
