IM: Now that you have two kids, what is your feeling when they do dangerous things in sports?
MM: They only do dangerous things if they are comfortable with the consequence. Hard work repeated makes for better results. There's no reason to hurt yourself. The hardest thing is being patient with yourself.
IM: You are known to always have had a perfect mix of riding skills, creativity and passion. Do you think that FMX athletes are also artists?
MM: No I don't believe that riders are all artists. A lot of riders now are very mechanical and have no style or flow. They are like robots.
