Perfect for everyone ... the eat-in great room easily accommodates 12-14 people at one large table indoors. Outdoors, the combination of upper and lower decks allows for communal dining and private space. Supplied deck and lawn chairs make it easy to find your personal refuge if you are so inclined.
The firepit on the shoreline is an idyllic ending for any evening. Warmed by the fire, sitting under the stars with the sound of waves lapping in the background ... what could be more relaxing?
The Retreat poperty is approximately 1 acre ... lots of lush lawn for badminton, soccer, kite flying, tag and other games for kids and adults alike.
Georgian Bay water is clean, clear and refreshing ... it is also potable. Along this western shoreline, the rocks are layered limestone, gradually deeping as you move further from shore. We do suggest you bring watershoes for your safety.
Six adult lifevests are supplied; you will need to bring PFDs for your children. That way, everyone will be able to enjoy an outing in the supplied canoe, adult and child's SUP or 2-person kayak. Paddles are supplied. Boat safety kit in garage.
You will not want to miss exploring the adjacent 430 acres of private
managed forest and
nature reserve with
about 17km of trails
located just across
the road from
the Retreat.
