Relax, Refresh, Rejuvenate -- by Nature

Whether you're relaxing on the deck listening to the waves lapping at the shoreline; sitting around a fire with friends; enjoying a picnic lunch at Big Rock or Escarpment Ponds gazebo; exploring for fossils on the shore; hiking on the trails; watching a hummingbird feed; catching a glimpse of a great blue heron in flight or happening upon a deer grazing in a meadow ... you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated during your stay at Greystone Retreat. This is a nature lover's paradise including spring and fall bird migrations.

Blossoms abound

This flowering tree happens to be a plum within the fenced garden area by the greenhouse. Although we have not found any other plum trees on the property, there is an abundance of apple and pear trees ... and many varieties of each. We postulate that birds drop the seeds when flying over the property as we are very close to Thornbury (as the crow flies at least) which is an apple producing center for the area.
