It begins every year about the first week of January ... begonias and geraniums are planted; followed by the traditional impatiens (in memory of Tony's father, Jim, who lovingly saved seed each year to plant the following season); then other staples such as lobelia, zinnia and cannas.

Each year we choose something new as a trial and let go of something from the previous year.

This year there are limited petunias and no impatiens. Lots of marigolds due to a supply chain issue with the seed company.

Because of the late seed arrival, the trial this year is hoping tuberous begonias regrow from last year!
