Master Bedroom Suite Many have called this room an “engineering wonder.” When laying in the bed, one will note the windows are perfectly placed and sized allowing a full scope east, south and west view; however, the master suite’s privacy is not infringed by the adjacent bedroom’s balconies. Sleeping here gives the open feeling of retiring under the stars. In the morning, the sunrise over Mukwonago resembles photos seen from California-mountain mansions. The king-size bed is a glorious example of the heights reached by creative woodcarvers. Sherry and her daughters cherish the peaceful memories of gazing on miles of sheep pastures in New Zealand—a trip taken over the Millennium celebration—therefore the carpet selected for the master suite is a natural sheep cream-colored New Zealand wool. The drapery design patterns are similar to the wall accents seen in the king’s chamber at Versailles. Rare indeed is the refabriced French hooded chair. Sherry searched for 25 years to locate it. This style chair has also been seen on display at Dubai’s finest mall and in Bergdorf Goodman’s tea room in New York. The 22-pound imperial bedspread had to be completely resewn when the decision was made to change the size of the bed. It has 83 feet of fringe. The spread is similar in appearance to that on the king’s bed at Versailles. Sherry designed the Greenwald crest and her father authored the inscription for the tapestry behind the bed. “Create, Persevere, Contribute. Live, Laugh, Love.” Unparalleled elegance is the coin of the realm and is suitably reflected in the lustre of approximately 8,750 5x8mm genuine pearls imbedded within the Master Suite’s moulding. o 29
