A two-day event packed with fun for the whole family, the Golden Days Harvest Festival is the perfect way to end summer. Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 mark the 24th year of the event, which continues to get bigger.The festival begins on Saturday morning when the Green Lake service groups line both sides of Mill Street with booths selling food to raise money for their organizations. Come prepared to try the wide assortment of delicious foods available for sale. At 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, the food booths make way for the Harvest parade down Mill Street. Each year, the parade has over 100 entrants, and features homemade oats, bands, clowns, and area school groupsits Green Lakes largest parade.
