MALAYSIA Ingredients • 350g bananas of any variety SCHOOL: SM SAINS TENGKU • 350g plain wheat flour (all purpose) MUHAMMAD FARIS • 500ml water • 1 Tbsp white sugar PETRA • 1 egg • 150g grated young coconut(without the outer brown skin of the shell) • 50ml palm or rice oil • Salt to taste Preparation 1. Mash bananas smoothly. Mix flour with mashed bananas and water until it forms a consistent smooth paste. Dessert 2. Add beaten egg, sugar, grated coconut and salt to taste. 3. Scoop mixture into a small ladle, equivalent to four tablespoons and spread on a non-stick pan laced with butter or palm oil (a mixture of both would be DANAIL HAIKAL BLURR good and would prevent the butter from rapidly turning brown). 4. Transfer to plate and repeat until mixture is used up. Serves about 6-10 persons. 80
