LOOKING FORWARD
As we look to the future, we believe God is leading us to continue coming along-
side other churches in our community and around the world, to offer support and
encouragement. Calvary Church has a rich history, and with this age comes wisdom
gained through experiences (both glorious and frustrating). It is our desire in this
season to not hoard what we’ve learned but to humbly care for and serve other
churches. We would like to centralize this work, much of which we have been doing
for years, under a single project. This project will have a three-fold goal of training
pastoral residents, planting new churches and strengthening existing churches. Our
hope is that any funds raised above the remaining balance for the Grace Beyond
project will become seed money for this new project.
On the pages to follow, we’re sharing stories of ways the work of this project
has been happening already. Be encouraged that the Lord’s work in this area will
continue on as we move into the future He has planned for us.
This is what the Lord
says— he who made a way
through the sea, a path
through the mighty waters,
who drew out the chariots
and horses, the army and
reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never
to rise again, extinguished,
snuffed out like a wick:
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new
thing! Now it springs up;

am making a way in the
wilderness and streams in
