In a historic move, the schools of Kochi
united under the aegis of PLAN- Pu-
pil Leaders’ Action Network at Global
Public School, Ernakulam in October.

Realizing their responsibility and unpar-
alleled ability to effect change in the
society which is staggering under the
burden of myriad predicaments, PLAN
is an initiative put forward by Glob-
al Public School, Ernakulam.to bring
schools in the city under one umbrella to
work collectively on ideas, campaigns,
drives, and cultural programs to better the city, the state and maybe even the country at large.

The Class of 2019 was bid adieu in a memorable event in November. With quirky quizzes and tremen-
dously entertaining programmes, laughter and cheer was the order of the day! With their witty answers
and sensational ramp walk, Jovan Jiji and Ashwini Sreekumar were crowned King and Queen respectively.

Always inspiring us to make fitness a way of life, our mentor, Mrs. Lakshmi Ramachandran led from the front
as GPSites participated in various marathons in September. Be it the Run For Kerala marathon held on Sep-
tember 16th to help rebuild our state or the Walk for your Heart on World Heart Day on 29 September
or the Run to Give on 30th September or the Spice Coast Marathon in November as well TCS 10K RUN in
February, teachers and students of gps displayed unity and stamina as they ran the extra mile. Zara
Thomas of Grade 4 did us proud by winning the 5km/14 girls category run at Panangad Marathon held
in December.
