R An ISO 9001:2015 certified school GPS in association with The Hindu, conducted a unique and interactive ‘Newspaper in Education’ campaign for the students of middle school in January. The hands on session familiarized the children with different techniques to improve their study and writing skills. Cherish our heritage! The rich heritage of the erstwhile Maharaja of Cochin was explored by students of Grade 6 at the 'Heritage Walk' at the Hill Palace Museum grounds in November. Innovation By Gpsites Lighting up with literature! Debates, recitation, declamation, elocution, Just A Minute sessions and Spell Bee challenges were the hallmark of the GPS Lit Fest 2018 held for the students of Grades 6 and above. A mesmerizing world of books! Gpsites were mesmerized on Children's Day 2018 as they stepped into a wonderful world of books - the spanking new library block! Spread across 2 floors, the junior and senior school library wings have an enormous collection of over 16,000 books covering all genres. With a novel design, the library units have space dedicated for reading and recital, pitara (group reading) and research work. Scientific temper and social responsibility were on display at the Bibox Innovation Day held in February. Novel ideas and innovative projects intended to make our society a better living place, were presented by the children. In quest of excellence!
