Raghav sippy finished 6th in the 200m race. 6th Classic Cup Inter school Football Tournament With a gold in the 50 meters butterfly stroke, a gold in the 50 meters Liyana Fathima Umer Nisar freestyle and a gold in the 100 meters butterfly stroke, Liyana set 3 new meet records at the event. She also secured a silver medal in the 100 meters freestyle. Liyana won the Individual Champion tile as well. At the 6th Classic Cup Inter school Football Tournament hosted by us in January, Global Public School emerged champions in the under12 category, defeating Cochin Refineries School (2-1) in a nail biting finish. In the under 10 category, Cochin Refineries School defeated Global Public School (3-1) in a penalty shoot out. Sports Day: From Start…. To Finish To Guru Devo Bhava Mr. C V Sunny, ex-captain of the National Basketball Team and founder of the C V Sunny Basketball Academy, flagged off the 12th Annual Senior School Sports Day in November. The vibrant and creative display by the students brought out the theme ‘From Start..to Finish’ as the students competed with bonhomie in various events. The Overall Sports Championship trophy was won by Air House. The Junior School Sports Day with the theme 'Guru Devo Bhava' was presided over by chief guest, Mrs. Lakshmi Ramachandran, Mentor, Global Public School. Dedicated to teachers, educators and mentors from all over the world, the Sports day had befitting displays saluting their gurus as well as nail-biting moments as they took part in the track events.
