FIRST WORD “Facts are eight drivers from four teams have topped the timing sheets at the end of eight days on track.” 27 February 2013 In the week which we saw a pair of Ayrton Senna’s race gloves sold for a hefty sum to Gerard Lopez, the highest bidder at a charity auction, we look back on testing in Barcelona and the aftermath thereof. We have sound bites from all the drivers, with reports covering the main issues that have emerged ahead of the final test which again takes place in Barcelona. Facts are eight drivers from four teams have topped the timing sheets at the end of eight days on track. The pecking order appears to have remained pretty much as it was in Brazil not so long ago. Whatever the case, the scene is set for another riveting Formula 1 season.
