very hard on the left-hand tyres. Turn 1 is an absolute killer for the left front because the corner goes on for ages and we’re turning as well as braking the whole time. With Pirelli taking their new soft and medium compounds to the race, it’ll be interesting to see how they hold up, but I’m expecting a few pitstops. This is the 10th Chinese Grand Prix and the popularity of F1 continues to grow in China. I got a great reception when I arrived at Pudong Airport last year and there was a pretty good crowd on race-day too. Let’s hope everyone’s as enthusiastic about the race this year.
