THREE OUT OF THREE
2016.03
Right now Nico Rosberg is an unstoppable force in Formula 1. In the cockpit
of the fabulous Mercedes W07 he simply could do no wrong. He scored his
third win of the season at the Chinese Grand Prix and, no matter what he
says, it was a comfortable victory.
Behind him there was real drama as Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Red
Bull’s Daniil Kvyat slugged it out through Turn 1, with the quadruple F1 world
champion aggrieved that the young Russian had the audacity to make a
lunge on the inside, which forced the Ferrari driver to take avoiding action
and clatter into his teammate Kimi Raikkonen.
It was all good soap opera stuff for viewers as Vettel berated a smiling Kvyat
post race and on the podium. This one has not run its course...
Elsewhere it was a case of damage control for Lewis Hamilton who started
from the back of the grid thanks to problems encountered during qualifying.
It was also a wake up call for Haas, who started the season on such a high,
but China brought them firmly back down to earth.
We have all news of importance, from the track and the paddock in Shanghai,
covered in this issue. Enjoy!
