LAST LAP DRAMA 2016.09
After their first lap collision at the Spanish Grand Prix in May, both Lewis
Hamilton and Nico Rosberg accepted that there would be more incidents
between them as they tussle furiously for the 2016 Formula 1 title.
Fast forward to July, at the Austrian Grand Prix - this time on the final lap
of the race - the pair again collide, this time Hamilton went on to win while
Rosberg limped home in fourth, after leading for the latter half of the race
and victory in his grasp.
So much has been written post the Red Bull Ring race and the headline
grabbing incident. In this issue we give an unbiased account of what went
down, not only in that final minute of a tense grand prix, but the entire
weekend in the Spielberg hills. Drama was present in every session.
Thus it soon became apparent that Austria was going to be a dramatic
grand prix. In fact, we predict every race from now on is going to be tension
packed and full of intrigue as the Mercedes pair go toe-to-toe in what will be
the story of this epic title fight.
Forget a Ferrari challenge or a Red Bull renaissance, what’s left of this
