GPGC Renovation Updates

GPGC 2014 Course Renovation Update Week 8 We are now at about the half-way point in the project! Our greatest challenge continues to be the cycle of significant rainfall that seems to hit us every few days or so. The good news is that our storm-water improvements are beginning to illustrate their usefulness! As you will see in the pictures and videos, we are nearing completion of major earth work on the southeast portion of the course (Holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12) and are moving our attention more to the rest of the course (holes 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18) Project highlights • Major storm water work is winding down and should be completed throughout the course by next week. • Crews are focusing on greens tees and irrigation on the south east portion of the course in preparation for seeding. • The North east section of the course is now getting a lot of attention and is beginning to take shape. • Weather will dictate if we can catch up on our project schedule which currently shows us two weeks behind. • Look for information soon on public tours being planned for September. Look for updates on the project as well as pictures and video clips each Friday through the end of October! If you have questions, please contact Bob Quill at
