The young American Bailey Shoemaker was victorious on the greens in Evian thanks to a magnifi cent eagle on 18. Bailey can now add another new victory to her young career, having won the Section 4 girls golf championships in May. The young American carded 69 (-2) today to produce an aggregate score of 213 (E) over the three rounds, 4 shots ahead of her compatriot Sara Im. The Czech Denisa Vodickova takes the third step on the podium with a score of 218 (+5). In the boys’ category, it is also the American Eric Lee who takes fi rst place with a fi nal score of 212 (-1). He is followed by the Italian Marco Florioli and Japan’s Eita Nakagawa and Misakimi Yoshizawa, who both fi nish on 215 (+2). Other noteworthy performances were made by the French player Vairana Heck and the Italian Riccardo Tosi, both of whom made a hole-in-one on the 8th hole. F or its 13th edition, the Evian Juniors Cup, held on 24, 25 and 26 September, welcomed 16 teams and 64 participants to the course at the Evian Resort Golf Club. The thirteen editions of the Evian Championship Juniors Cup have brought some of today’s golfi ng talents to the fore, professional players such as Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Aditi Ashok and Leona Maguire, and the world’s top amateurs including Albane Valenzuela and Agathe Laisné.
