33 YOUNG CHAMP TEES OFF IN JUNIOR STATE GOLF TOUR
36 ANIKA VARMA EMERGES BEST INDIAN IN FIFTH PLACE
Thirty young golfing champions teed off at the 2nd edition of Junior
State Golf Tour, organized by the Gujarat Junior Golf Tour (GJGT) at
Glade One Golf Club. The GJGT is conducted at the state level and
scorings would be recorded with its affiliate international partner
Global Junior golf rankings.
Anika Varma, who finished in fifth place with a 3-under par aggregate
of 285 and a final day card of two-under 70 at the Hero Women’s Indian
Open. The 15-year-old Anika was just one shot ahead of best-placed
home professional Tvesa Malik, who was tied sixth at one-under 287
emerged best Indian.
