Indian sit Groin rocking - START After an athletic event, the muscles continue to produce metabolic byproducts that are acidic in nature and aggravate sensory nerve endings in muscle tissue. This serves to tighten the muscle even more. To prevent unnecessary and unwanted muscle soreness after golf, it is a good idea to perform post event stretching. This involves stretching all the major muscle groups used in golf particularly the hips, lower back and shoulder. Post event stretching should not replace developmental or maintenance stretching. Stretching after golf is used to calm the nervous system, restore circulation in golf specifi c muscles and regain freedom of movement after the game. www.instagram.com/thefitnesshub Levator Scapula stretch Groin rocking - FINISH Supine knee extension hamstring stretch Medial shoulder rotators and peck minor stretch Pectoralis Major stretch Lateral shoulder rotator stretch Trunk rotator stretch (restricted spinal rotation) Normal spinal rotation range GolfPlus Junior November-December 2019 29
