The best way to feel a good posture is the stand as if you are
ready to spring out of your feet to make a jump or dive into a pool, as
shown in the picture.
A slight bend at the waist and a corresponding equal amount of fl ex
in the knees. It’s best to do this position in one single motion.
Sometimes players tend to bend their waist fi rst and then bend the
knees. This sometimes gets them into a locked position. In my
opinion, a player must feel athletic and ready to move, since toughest
thing about Golf is to get into motion from a stationary position.

Some players move their pelvic a bit too much and tend to get into
a “S” posture wherein the lower back gets extremely stressed and locks
the lower body from the upper body and makes it impossible for the
body to get into a rhythm which is most important for the Golf swing.
